I don't leave until August 27, but I am already feeling excited and stressed out about what's in store. I have been following the politics lately, and I have to say the situation makes me a little nervous. Other than that, I am working on my Spanish, trying to come up with a packing list that includes some of the comforts of home but nothing too stupidly superfluous, and trying to sell most of my stuff. If anyone wants anything, let me know! Yes, I also have a myspace blog, which I will use for those things that aren't suitable fodder for the whole world, but I wanted to have a space where my former students and my school partner students can keep in touch and find out what I'm up to. Hopefully, throughout my service I will be maintaining both forms of communication.
